Dickie Lakeshore

I’m Dickie Lakeshore (off stage: Richard Gibbs) — a stand-up comedian from the Niagara region who likes a good room, a good crowd, and a cold drink after the set.

I’ve been grinding the local circuit for years — open mics, club spots, Legion nights, and charity bills — telling stories that feel like cottage country and small-town Canada with a wink.

When I’m not on the mic, I’m often the guy putting the show together: booking rooms, lining up comics, and keeping the night moving. I’ve produced nights at a handful of venues around Niagara — some one-offs, some that come back month after month.

You’ll also catch me with the crew from Talkin’ Funny, the video podcast that keeps Niagara comics and fans in the loop. I’ve helped raise laughs (and money) for local journalism and youth theatre — because comedy works better when the community wins too.
